Essaouira, Morocco

I’m still on a high after yesterday’s exciting award nomination! I am loving sharing the honour with all the other bloggers I nominated, and then seeing the happiness in those they themselves nominate – it’s a lovely circle of blogging support!

But, back to today’s post – I’m afraid I’m still craving that holiday people. I discovered yesterday that one of my favourite property sites, The Modern House, also do holiday rentals. Oh the excitement! This house in Morocco was my favourite out of the 20 or so available from across the world, from Norfolk to Sri Lanka. I’d love to go to Morocco; the vibrancy, the heat, the food, (the camels!) all appeal to me.

This house was renovated by design partners Emma Wilson and Graham Carter, and has been featured in The Guardian. It sleeps 8 at £750 per week, which I think is very reasonable if you’ve got 6-8 of you going. Hmm, I may have to start looking at flights to Essaouira (ess-oor-a?)….
